I think we could easily get somewhere between 150-200 people.  The event would be promoted heavily over the course of a few months... and we'd have people come from Bozeman, Billings, Helena... all around the state... as well as some from Idaho, and Wyoming... and maybe the Dakotas.

The reason people would be coming from all over is because we are a lot closer than the next closest conferences which are in Bellingham Washington and the Salt Lake City area.

I know you haven't seen many people at the BozemanLUG meetings but some of the larger meetings in the past have been > 30 people.  Most of them just got bored and didn't want to contributed so they stopped coming... but quite a few of them still are on the mailing list.

Also we'd hopefully have a few headliners for keynotes that would put some butts in seats. :)  And it would be free of cost too... although we might have to have some fund raisers to pay expenses... but all of this is still very preliminary so we'll have to see how it progresses.
