Thank you salesman... err.. I mean Jeff.

But seriously, LWN has done a few articles on the Nexus 7.  They put Ubuntu Core on it and it was horribly bad.  https://lwn.net/Articles/525458/

Of course that isn't to say anything bad about the hardware or the software it comes pre-loaded with.

Then they did a "review" of CyanogenMod 10 on the Nexus 7 (subscriber link, nag free after next Thursday)

I use the quotes around review because it is more of a "how Android is open source but not really an open community" type of explanation... and that is all well and fine... no real complaints... but it is made clear that everyone else will always be behind because of the nature of Android releases... unless someone puts a completely different system on there not based on Android.

I do appreciate your commentary and the fact that you are still participating!!!

So, what are you up to that you can talk about without having to kill us? :)
