Is there any external equipment they are hooked up to that might influence them?  Say... a UPS with a connection that supposedly is smart enough to shut the machines down to protect them from commercial power loss that outlasts the battery capacity?  A malfunctioning UPS could do it.  Other than that, I can't think of anything.

I have seen faulty hardware just randomly reboot but there wouldn't be a pattern to it like you are experiencing.
