[BozemanLUG] Ubuntu 10.04

I have been using Ubuntu 10.04 and really like it over all. But I have
been experiencing some real buggy behaviors from it or so I think. Nothing
major but it "seems" for me the bulk of the buggy issues are stemming from
the right side of the top task bar. I have had the "my"
menu disappear including the shutdown menu, I have had my network icons
missing and even though I connect to the network router the icon never comes
back to the task bar. I have had two speaker icons of which only one works.

I guess I am a little surprised since this is a LTS release and I expected a
more solid product. I am running this on a Dell XPS M1530 w/2 gigs of RAM
and have been dual booting with Ubuntu for roughly 2 or 3 years now without
too many issues.

Is anyone else experiencing issues similar to this or am I a fluke instance?
Let me also be upfront, I have not yet looked at the forums nor am I asking
for technical help. I just saw Scotts LUG email and thought I would see
what other Ubuntu users are experiencing.
